Cvpm responsible for softkeys on surroundview to work

Recently swapped to the 21 tow mirror on my 19 limited with uconnect 4 all work except the softkeys for surroundview they seem frozen they are on screen but don’t work not even the x button to exit screen I tryed to put the old cvpm back in with the tow mirrors and all softkeys work perfectly but the side cameras are not stitched correctly hence the new cvpm anyone know what could be my issue possibly the new cvpm is bad ?
