Curious question

Year and a half ago when I started looking at adding 360 camera to my truck (have not done it yet) digital cameras for front, back, and sides were list around $170 on many of the Mopar wholesalers online. The prices for these cameras are around $270 and up now.
What gives?

Certain chipsets are back ordered so it’s making it more expensive to build some components.... there are some options currently unavailable on new vehicles because of the shortage.
