Prior to doing my last oil change, I ordered the Cummins fleetguard ISB5.9 fuel/water separator (FS-19855) from cummins.ca. From my research, I was under the impression that it would fit my 2020 Ecodiesel. Just as a backup I also purchased the OEM Mopar fuel/water separator (68436631AA)

Much to my discovery, the Cummins one does not fit our 2020 Ecodiesels. Here are some photos comparing the differences.

Anyone else experience this issue?

you got one of the 2019-2021 HD 2500's. theres 2 filters now for those. you got the "wrong" one. Fuel Filters 68157291AA and 68436631AA for the HD's

you want only the 68436631AA for the ecodiesel.

I searched that Napa part# on their site and it says it doesn’t fit my 2020 ecodiesel

This thread is confusing. Lol.

The frame mounted filter element is shared between 2019+ Cummins and 2020+ VM diesels in these trucks. The Cummins then has a second filter that the VM EcoDiesel doesn't have so it's irrelevant.

So, like he said any filter for the 2020+ EcoDiesel will fit the 2019+ Cummins and vise versa, as long as it's the frame mounted filter up in the front of the truck.

right, the one you do not want is the spin on filter that looks like an oil filter and made of metal.

The filter in OPs pictures is a FS19855. That's for the OLD 2000-2002 5.9L cummins.

you want the 6.7L version and you'll be fine.

yeah. Mopar meets the cummins OE specs. the wix doesn't. it's a 10 micron filter vs 7 micron oe for fleetguard. Mopar and Baldwin meet or exceed cummins specs AFAIK.
