Cruise Control Tungsten

Anyone know a way around the adaptive cruise control in the 2025 Tungsten? So darn annoying to have adaptive on and cannot turn it off! Had both types of cruise on my 23 Ram Laramie and always had adaptive turned off and used the standard cruise control with it.

I turn the distance way down, so it mostly acts like regular cruise control.

I have it all the way down, and it will run up on some slowly and slow down to under the speed I have set on until I pass. Sometimes I don't notice it, other times it puts the brakes on automatically to slow down hard if I never changed lanes fast enough with it turned all the down ):. So very annoying and the only thing I don't like about the Tungsten.
