Cooper folded into Goodyear

Looks like Cooper will soon be just a sub brand of Goodyear. Not sure what that will mean for the tires but I've never been a fan of Goodyear and Coopers have been a good tire for some time. Hopefully, they'll let Cooper continue to innovate and operate with some sense of independence. If not, it'll just be another wrangler sub brand.

I thought Cooper and M/T were related. Maybe I was wrong. If so though, I sure hope that doesn't mean M/T will fall under GY as well.

I won't spend my money on Good Year after the factory set wear out. I was thinking of trying Cooper tires as my next set, but watching a Hammerdown Motorsports video recently made me rethink that. He had a friend with a Silverado and Coopers, and he couldn't get traction up a snow covered slope. I have always had BFG and looks like I'll be sticking with them.
