Well I'm stuck between the two..
The size is decided at least.. will be 285/60/20. And there going on a 4x2 black longhorn with air suspension and painted inlay oem 20x9 wheels(the one pictured with the ramboxs). I leveled the sus using adjustable links.. still alittle rake.. but only around .5 inch.
If you got pics of your truck with these two choices, please share.. or first hand knowledge
If we could keep it to just these two choices that would be very helpful, or back down the rabbit hole I go.
the cooper in my selected tire size is plain black sidewall, both are 10 ply, around 61 lbs, 33.7 x 11.5.

I assume since 2 wheel drive, it is a pavement pounder. The Cooper will be a great tire. The Cooper ATP is another great tire. I ran them on my 2wd Silverado; wear extremely well, excellent in all conditions, quiet. I am a big fan of Cooper in general.

Yep 95% road.. 5% graded road and enclosed trailer/ small toy hauler..
Wanted a slightly more aggressive stance and more suited to tow. But at 900 miles on my OEM tires it totally a vanity purchase..

I used the ATP towing both a boat and flat towing a Jeep TJ. Worked great in both instances. I'd expect the AT3 to be just as good.

Put on some weathertec mud flaps.. with the extra width I was getting a little more crap slung up the side.. but no clearance issues at any levels.
So I lost a little mpg. But not to much maybe 1mpg.
Ride is the same at cold 42psi at 75 mph raises to 44 psi. So seems like the tire is doing ok at the lower presure and not heating up to much.

Are you still pretty happy with them? Have the gotten significantly louder as they wear? I'm doing a similar comparison of these two tires for my next set.

Out of those two, Ridge for sure. Also consider the new Recon Grappler. I am running those on both my Ram and Jeep, they have excellent ride and traction and are quiet.

Yeah I looked at the Recon too, seem to be a little quieter on the road/less aggressive....what's been your experience with them?

A little, lol. I was a BFG KO2 fan and ran them for a decade at least, but they are pricing themselves out. These Recons were $40 a tire cheaper for both rigs and so far, have been equal if not better for me.
