Coolant temps randomly jumping to 222-224 degrees in traffic?

95% of the time, my Ram is sitting right around 203-205 degrees.

However, over the last month, I've had 3 occasions where I've heard the cooling fans ramp up, and looked down and my engine temp was at 222-224 degrees.

I think in all 3 cases it was remarkably nice weather (like 70s) and I was in stop and go traffic but nothing unusual.

I'm wondering if the aerodynamic grill shutters had malfunctioned or something like that. Has anyone noticed similar behavior?

Knee jerk comment is modern engines are designed to run "hot"... but go ahead and burp your coolant as you may have trapped air; Hemi's can be finicky about that.
