Driving style, proper alignment, proper pressure, and rotating them, are huge factors. My dad got 80,000 out of a set of Michelins. The worst are Goodyears, they use soft rubber for handling, and wear extremely fast. I had a set of Eagle G/Ts worn before 25,000 miles. When I was complaining at the tire store, about how fast they wore, the tire guy said most cars they were replacing those on, were less than 20,000.

The Goodyears I’ve had on 8 Dodge/ RAM trucks have all worn out around 20,000 miles.
