Last night I read several threads about adding a 360 camera system using OEM parts and it sounded like a nightmare...and expensive too. Looking around online I found several nice after market systems but all had RCA (A/V) outputs and would require a radio/head/infotainment system that would accept an RCA input. Anyone know if a uConnect 5, 12" screen/unit on a 2022 RAM 1500 has that type of interface...or know of any electronic device(s) that would emulate/interface a after market 360 system...and if so what AlphaOBD settings would need to be activated?

(I read the posts in the uConnect forum...and none of those people would know the answer to my question...so that's why I posted it here)

In looking at the pin-out schematic for the Uconnect there are empty 'slots' for aux video. I don't know if it is a plug and play to get them to accept video or not. I'm looking at a 360 birds eye camera system and want to use the Uconnect for the monitor. Any help out there?

UC5 360 cam uses digital signal and not the regular RCA. Then, you'll need a "brain" for the 360 cam that can talk to UC5 digital input, which means messing with your BCM, CANBUS, and all other control modules.
Then, Stellantis vehicles are not that good on electrical, so you do run the risk of frying something.

so, the best course of action is add it external of your existing system.
