Hi all,

Want to see if anyone else is experiencing the same issue I am. Purchased a brand spanking new 2019 ram limited and after only 900 miles I have moderate to severe condensation building up inside the headlamp. After it is drying it is now leaving water spots and Haze inside the Lamp.

Dealership sent me a bulletin that says this is normal. There is no way this is supposed to be normal on a $68,000 truck. My concern issue with them is two things: 1. Appearance of water spots and haze, looks like **** and should’ve ever have to accept that 2. Water and electric do not mix. If bulb blows, I’m the one who’s out

Any thoughts on how to combat with dealership and corporate? I will not accept this as the norm for such an expensive truck.

Fogging is normal but you have more than just fogging, those are full droplets. I'd demand replacements becuase fixing that out of warranty will be north of $1000 each. And that TSB's over 4 years old?!?! Your service department is clearly off their rocker.

Thanks Jordan, I agree. I have taken this issue as far up as I can with no help from ram. They are going by what the dealership is telling them. It is truly sad when you spen 68k on a truck and they want nothing better then to not have to deal with you. Not a good start to switching from GM

I know it’s an annoyance but have you tried a different dealer?

I have the same issue with my Bighorn and took it to a dealership, they looked at it and told me they would contact FCA and today I got a phone call from the dealership and they are going to warranty my lights.
