Cold Air Intakes, necessary?

It is the same size as the stock duct/tube, why?

I was about to pull the trigger on a V6 Rebel and wanted to see if I could have made it work with an adapter but decided against it and will be getting a hemi equipped truck instead

I don’t think I mentioned anything about open filters. Yes any NA vehicle hot air is not good. We didn’t say anything about forced air vehicles

I've had Mopar CAI's on my last two Challengers. Not because I think they did much, I just liked the sound and look.
Did a lot of car shows with my club and usually had the hood open. For this truck I'll get a K&N drop in and be done.

Has anyone had any codes pop up when running an aftermarket CAI? I haven't ran one in a while and I know in the 2000s aftermarket CAI's brought codes up. Wondering if Dodge/Ram has fixed this issue..
