no but after 4 years of cleaning it and the odd spec of dirt as fine as dust that scratches it every clean. It will look rough... nothing is better than taking off the plastic over anything in like new condition and this gives you the opportunity to do so whenever you want and to replace.
There is a package of glass cleaner wipes available at Dollar Tree ....(about 30 wipes for a dollar) that work quite well ...they're the size of a small Kleenex and moistened with a very good glass cleaner ....I have used these since my truck was new .. The only problem is once you open the package there is no way to reseal it so I put them in a ziplock bag
