Looking to delete the chrome bumpers and possibly the grille. I have the ivory 3coat and was considering black wrap since the ivory is hard to match. (The big issue with the ivory) Suggestions? Comments?

Op are you also going to do your mirror caps ?

Only curious, but on a brand new truck why didn’t you just get one with a sport appearance package?

I am the one that painted the full front and in canada or the states you can't get the longhorn with painted bumpers or grille or mirrors... 20180921_091011.jpg20180921_091011.jpg

You could wrap it, or first try Plasti-Dipping.

That way you could see how it looks, and if it's something you'd like to do permanently, for a lot less than (a LOT less) than a wrap would cost. If you decide, then you can have it wrapped or painted.

Ahhh I didn’t realize it was a longhorn. Also didn’t know you couldn’t get them color matched. Thats almost disappointing that it’s only an option on the lower trimmed trucks.

OP has a Laramie so he could of, but if he wanted the bench seat or the frost interior I don't think you could of gotten those with the sport package?

I fell in love with the truck when I saw it. Always had black interior and wanted a lighter color. The white with chrome looks good but I have always had trucks with body color bumpers and accents. Just trying to tone down some chrome. Already bought ivory mirror caps and was thinking of changing the front header applique. You know what is the only thing I really do not like is the laramie grille. Thought it would grow on me.

I'm in the same boat. Looking to get rid of chrome on my Laramie. Needed front bench seat so couldn't get Sport.

My ivory tailgate handle and mirror covers are on the way. Tried to have some fun with vinyl wrap while I am waiting.

Someone had a "night" edition idea. Mocked up/photoshopped bumper and grille. Opinions?

Where did you get your tailgate handle cover at?

Does any one know how much new bumpers are from RAM that I could paint? This chrome is hideous.

Due to the cost of shipping, I would hit my local dealership up and see what kind of deal could be worked with them.

In 2014 when I bought my first Ram I loved how the Express trucks came all color matched. But I wanted the 8.4" screen, sunroof, and full center console in my crewcab. So I bought a Bighorn and that took care of the interior the way i wanted it. I don't care for chrome much at all, so I made a deal with my dealer to change out my front and rear chrome bumpers, chrome grill, chrome clad wheels for color matched front and rear bumpers, color matched grill and black wheels off another new express truck they had in the lot. They only charged me labor to do the swap. I thought that was a great deal and if i remember right the labor was less than a grand.
