Chrome Delete

Just did a full chrome delete to my 2020 1500 Limited 4x4. Gloss black powder coat on stock 22’s/tow hooks/exhaust tips, black gloss paint of the emblems and door molding, gloss black and white wrap on the grille/window trim/mirrors/door handle/tailgate latch. Going to redo the tailgate latch to find a better white match. But in all I’m super happy with how it all turned out.

You can buy the color matched tailgate handle on eBay pretty reasonably priced if I remember right.

Yes my grille and bumpers were chrome. So happy with results.

I am also trying to go for the “Night Edition” look by changing my chrome to gloss black and a close to bright white. What vinyl brand and color did you go with for the bumpers ? Also brand for the gloss black ?

Wrapped. 3M 2080 Gloss White. It’s not perfect, and can look brighter than paint depending on the light, but very happy with it

Hired a painter and matched my granite paint color

I replaced all parts with oem limited parts and painted as needed. After selling all chrome parts I’m out of $2200.00 which is still less than if I purchased originall.

looks awesome have the exact same truck as you and want to do the exact same to my grill area. Did you do it yourself?

Truck looks great! But it's not the black bits that makes the Night Edition package so expensive. It's the HK sound system, 22" wheels, Sport Performance hood, and tonneau cover that makes it cost so much. Did you include what you paid for all of those into your $2200? If so you did very well.
