Chrome bumpers, grilles, and mirrors still? & LEDs over Hallogen? Yuck.

I’d say that chrome ages better.

Older PTM trucks, especially poorly maintained/ no PPF look like abused service trucks IMO.

Chrome starts out looking classic, and then still does once it is.

Mine has the chrome bumpers and I hated it when new. Envied the PTM Sport packages.

Nearly 9 years later and my view is completely the opposite, the sports look tacky and faded.

That said when I order a new ram it will have painted bumpers, because I live in the present. And I’m bougie like that.

I have chrome. I am 49. The monochrome look of body colored bumpers is too much. And I dont need to bellyache about rock chips on my bumper.

I think some manufacturers put halogen housings to be able to upsell to LEDs. Of course halogen doesn’t work or look as good, and they know it.

I like chrome as long as it’s not over done.

You don't like the Superfly look? LOL

I tend to alternate between the two. PPF on the front end really helps with small paint chips.

I've always hated most running boards and love the clean look of the power ones, but I def like the all chrome front end there!
Not only the look of the power boards, they are wider and lower, when extended, making an easier step. Now that I have them, I wall always have them.

I like the look of the power boards but I also like the protection the fixed boards provide against rock chips to the rocker panels and front of the rear wells
