2019 Big Horn 3.6L v6. This is the second time the check engine light has come on when I hear a loud fan noise coming from the engine. The next day the check engine light is gone. Is there some sort of a cooling fan that comes on at some point to trigger this? Thanks

You should get a code reader of some sort. A cheap, generic one won't pick up codes from all of the systems in the truck, but the check engine light is on, there will be code that visible to a generic reader.
