So I watched this video about fixing this check engine light. It might be a little bit above my paygrade. But with a buddy who is more mechanically inclined could it be done?

Or should I take it to the dealer?

Anyone else fixed this by themselves.

I searched the code in the forum and found a 1 post about it. I guess I'm wondering if there are some people who have taking apart the intake manifold themselves and how hard it is.

I recommend throwing out your truck's details (year, model, engine, etc.), so we can better help. Are you experiencing any of the issues sometimes associated with this code (misfires, worse MPG, rough idle, etc.), or is it just a code you get and the truck works just fine otherwise?

For those who care, code P3425 means "Cylinder 4 Deactivation/Intake Valve Control Circuit/Open". Common fix is replace the #4 solenoid.

2019 Ram 1500 Bighorn v8. The only thing i have noticed is a little less MPG. But im going on a roadtrip soon, and i would like to see that eco mode kick in.
