At 8,800 miles I have my first check engine light. No driveability concerns just a bit annoying coming out of a 2015 Ford Eco Boost that left us stranded multiple times with Limp mode while pulling our boat. I have a few concerns about the Ram. One pinging with anything less than 91, with moderate accelleration and while pulling my boat, and sometimes even with the 91. The other is lifter noise at startup and a transmission clicking on first couple minutes of driving in the am on slow deceleration.
Any similar stories? Headed to the dealership Monday

Using the obd scanner to read the code, so that you can know reason for your light turning on.

Had a tranny error code, but has also had a diagnosed valve issue, so they need to pull the head. :(

i had a random cel one day, when i used my scanner, it was a very slow EVAP leak. Dealer had a TSB to reflash ECU and havent seen it since

I've been running 93 since my last hemi, tried 89 at first but it would ping while stomping on it. The lifter noise exists in varying degress, much more so if the check valve in the oil filter isn't holding pressure. I had one go bad and the lifter noise was awful on start up, could hear it all the way through the exhaust. The clicking might be a heat shield or exhaust expanding and not necessarily the transmission. My cel came on recently and was a generic evap code p0441, cleared it and hasn't come back. Could be due to my dumbass topping off and soaking the carbon canister or it's the silly cap-less gas flap

Mine is lifters at start-up. They are replacing the lifters next week. Hope that solves it.
