I had my Laramie for 24 hours before I knew the "gold" center stack trim needed to go. I got GCM aerosol paint matched by the local NAPA shop. To remove the center stack on a bench front seat, remove the two phillips screws under the rubber mat at the top. Pull from this spot at the top firmly. Disconnect all the connectors. I then pulled the heater vents, touchscreen, and toggle switch/ brake controller. I did have to tape off the "stainless" vent trim and the wood grain at the top. I sprayed it with 4-5 light coats and reassembled. I still need to get some good daytime pictures but overall I think it turned out good. It doesn't stand out in a good or bad way once in the truck which I think is a success because it used to bug me quite a bit.
