Center Console Upgrade

I purchased limited center console and will be installing it into my bighorn. It looks like the top piece just pops out with clips.

What's different between this and the bighorn besides the top? I put on the Ram's head logo one on mine. It just popped off and the other popped on no problem.

This one has actual covers so you can close the top and not see the cup holder etc. Bighorn does not have these covers.

The limited top portion will not fit in the bottom portion of the other models. You need the deeper lower portion from the limited as well. But, that part is much cheaper.

Center Console Slider Swap (Rebel to Limited)

So, I had been eyeballing this as a possible modification for quite some time and was unsure if it was possible. I posed the question but no one really had an answer, so I just up and did it. I swapped the sliding center console cupholder/tray compartment in my Rebel for a Limited compartment...

I wanted to do this, but the issue with the lids not matching would drive me crazy.
Not sure why they didn’t just put lids on all models. I hate having open spaces
