Installed center console vault and tray in console will not slide back because of combination lock. Anybody removed tray from center sole?

Lockerdown makes a lower profile console safe for the "limited and Longhorn" that doesnt interfere with the deeper sliding tray in those models. I installed one awhile back, and no issue with the tray hitting the safe.

Looking to remove console drawer from center console. Highlighted in yellow. Help?
