Center console rattle. I am getting an intermittent rattle in the passenger side of my center console. It seems to occur more often when something is in the cupholder but does occur when empty as well. There is no change if I slide the console forward or back. If I pull on the passenger side of the console wall (towards driver side) it seems to stop. I think it is coming from the area indicated in the picture but not positive. Thoughts?

I’ll ask some questions in hopes that someone will know the answer .
1) have you done any work in that area of the truck ?
2) could anyone have dropped something down there ?
3) is it a continuous rattle ?

1. No work in there
2. I looked all around and don’t see anything that was dropped.
3. It happens mostly when going over minor bumps or slightly rough road.

That sounds like a loose clip . Unfortunately I’m not sure where the clips are to check .

Same thing happening here. Let us know if you track it down!
