Center Console Lid

I am still confused on getting this off? Is it just pull up hard and it seperates or are there screws? Do you have to remove the whole lid first then remove cover?

See in this pic how he has the screwdriver in the crack where the bottom cover meets the top lid?

I used a butter knife, worked great. It just pops off.
Under that cover are like 5 T20 screws the hold the lid to the hinge.
Once you have your old lid off you need to swap the latch over to the new lid, its like 4 T20 screws.
All in all it took me maybe 5 minutes to change it out, super easy.

Got it installed. Pop bottom of plastic off top console lid. Then remove 5 screws on hinge and then 4 screws for latch.

Digging up an old post here. Am I reading that the under cover of the lid is just snapped on? No screw in fasteners at all? Bear got into my truck and broke the latch for the upper lid.
