Fighting with having an accessible location for keys and walet without sliding the center constantly and still have phone access in the holder.

So i added another set of detent holes between the fwd and mid position.
Gives visual access to keys and wallet in the coin holder tray while maintaining room to phone

I may try this on mine, I find it hard to get to my phone while its in the holder, half way between the first and second hole would work great

Well done! Was gonna do the same thing, but further back, so the cup holders are just in front of the armrest. Thx for confirming the idea wasn’t loony!

What size YETI MUG is that? That’s what I’m actually on here trying to figure out so I don’t have to go outside and measure the cup holders! Lol

Curious is the 12 oz yeti hotshot would fit .
I went out earlier with the 14 oz yeti mug but it was too big. The cup holders seem small. Anyone happen to know the width of the cup holder ?

Was using a step bit. I thing i ended up @ 1/4

Thanks for giving this one a go - I always thought getting the phone out was tricky when the cup holders were slid all the way forward.

I found that making a new set of holes 2" farther back from the front holes creates the perfect gap. Also, I think the hole size is 5/16".

Do they sell that cover for the cup / coin holder? Does that come in the limited?

Thanks for posting this. I thought about doing this but I didn't want to drill into a new truck, so I figured I'd do it once the "newness" wears off LOL. After owning it for 6 months, I guess I'm at that point now. ;)

Hindsight is always 20/20 but why didn't they make the mechanism so the slider could be positioned wherever you want it? Imagine if the seatbelt was made that way

My thoughts as well. It would have been easy enough to design it to have more adjustment points. I'll probably just add more holes to give more set points for the tray.
