I'm planning to install a cb in the center console (between the seats) on a 2023 1500 limited. Without pulling out the center console, where & how do I pull power into the console? Also plan to use mag mount antenna. Where & how to exit the console for the coaxle cable?

You'd have to pull the center dash/radio section to get stuff to it like antenna, power, etc (to the center console/armrest area). That part is actually SUPER easy to pull. Two screw up top and all the rest are pinch clips. Undo screws and give it a yank. Once that is loose, you can see all the connectors and remove it. Then you can see where to add/ run lines to for where you might be installing the CB. You adding a remote speaker too?

Actually i believe there are 6 screws to remove the center console (grrr). As im looking to just set the cb [president harrison) in the bottom, just infront of the cup holders on the right side sitting upwards, im thinking .... 1] drill from inside the console into the side pocket, then. 2) drill down inside thw side pocket to get to the carpet area. Then could sneak wiring just along the console/carpet. Im not sure if i can successfully pull the console, even after watching youtube

Cardboard box would be the cb, then drill on the driver side (from insise the console area) into the driver side pocket. Thoughts?

There might be room if you put it under the piano swicthes/tow control and make a custom bezel/3d print something for that space. You could put it there, def make the install easier, but will it fit with the cables in the rear (bottom here)?

Yeah... 2 cubbies ... one just left of the switches is too small & I don't want to alter that area. Second is where the tissue box sides into. It too is too small

If you don't want to pull the center console, I'm not sure how to check what's under there to see if you can make holes to route your CB cables to the rear.

Anyone have pics of the center console pulled?

Found some on ebay ... looks like l will have to pull the console. Darn

Yep, those look like the tunnel for the ducts and usb/lights for the rear seats, so you'd definitely have to do it on the opposite side of the ducts and wires.

For the couple trips per year up and down the 95, just made a small bracket to hold my PC-55 in the phone mount slits in the center console.
She plugs in at the rear of the arm rest that has a custom 12 volt cigarette lighter outlet installed.
The sound of silence... compared to the eighties .cb mounted clip.jpg
