The truck needs 37’s. I thought it was supposed to come that way. I wonder if they went with 35’s because there wasn’t enough room under the truck for a 37” spare?

My guess is they couldn't find a tire to hit that 118 mph top speed rating in the 37" size. They wanted to beat the top speed of the Raptor, which also has a tire limited in top speed.

May also hurt overall performance numbers with those 37" tires, though would look awesome! Also something to leave for the aftermarket while saving money as well.

They couldn't find one in a 35" size, either...they had to develop a new one ;)

That's true, they had to work with a manufacturer to get that rating. It could be they couldn't reasonably get a 37" to reach that goal without too many compromises or it was simply too big for the application.

For a truck with so little compromises, I don't think they avoided the 37" tire for purely costs reasons.
