CarPlay Audio Question

Car play in the RAM drives me CRAZY. It works 90% of the time - the other 10% it as if it isn't even plugged in. Anyone else experience this?
Yep. Restarting the truck and unplugging and then plugging it back in works for me. Not unique to Ram, I’ve experienced this with every manufacturer. Try going back to the airport at Newark, factory GPS takes a dump, my phone takes a dump, and your colleagues are so busy on sales calls we end up in a part of New Jersey I never want to see again. I’m driving and basically begged one of those idiots to get off the phone but figure out where we are and get us out of the ghetto, because nothing I was trying worked. That was a brand new Ford, but Chevy and Chrysler have crapped out on me as well.

I worked for a company in Pearl River and hated every trip. Traveled weekly and once did 16 flights in one week, so focused on work and travel I couldn’t see straight. My Ram is barely driven now that I’ve left that world. My wife would ask where I’m going and I would have to pull up my United app. That is way too much travel for anyone.

I find the clarity is fine when in Bluetooth, but I have to turn the volume WAY up to hear it. I find that Airplay works the best as I can get clarity with the volume as well. My Ford was the same way...Bluetooth didn't have the same amount of clarity as plugging in with the USB, which makes a lot of sense when you think about it.

Try turning up the volume button on the phone. Doesn’t make sense I realize, but sometimes it makes a huge difference for me. It’s not a old fashioned audio out, your truck is now the headphones attached to your phone.
