Hey All,

First time posting here. I bought a 2109 Ram Limited Black back in late 2018. I do not have a RAM Box but I do have the bed utility rails. I bought the Cargo Divider because 1 don't want stuff rolling all around the bed and 2 why not. I also wanted more of a hard tonneau cover and did not but the RAM one because of $$'s. So after doing my research I went and bought the BakFlip MX4. Which honestly from what I can tell the one the RAM sells is basically the same thing. I tried installing this about 8 months ago and because of the issues gave up. Talked to some dealers and got no help. So I just put it aside and forgot about it until today. My issue is getting the cargo divider bracket in place because of the clamp on piece for the tonneau cover. So I figured i would reach out to you all and see what you all had to say. If you need pictures it will probably need a few weeks as the bed of the truck is full of give away stuff with with what is going on right now there is no one open to give it to.

Thanks
Mike

Mike, I'd be curious what issues you were having in the installation. Mine has the cargo tie down rails. I just installed the Vortac rollup tonneau from Bak. Other than having to scrape off the burrs from the inner extrusions in the side rails, installation was pretty easy. A little finicky doing it alone, but not a huge ordeal.

And I've been looking at the Mopar bed divider as well, but I haven't been able to see how it installs in the bed.

Hey All, Finally got the stuff out of the truck. Here are pictures of the inner most point where I need to bolt it up.

This is the rod to prop open the cover when you need to have the whole thing open, see that it is touching.

An finally the tonneau clamp that is rubbing as well.

I was able to put the screw in for the front part of it (tailgate end).

Let me know your thoughts.

I think my plan here is going to be to take each clamp of and cut about a half inch off the top side so that bottom will be raised a bit and try that. The only other thought I have it so see if some sells shorter clamps.

Still looking for thoughts.

I was intending on purchasing utility rail and cargo divider in near future, too - and I just bought the MX4 - definitely interested to see your solution on this!

I have the rails and the divider and the WeatherTech trifold and I also had issues with the cover clamps but pushing them to to top helped me. Honestly though I think you could instead of using the clamps, just drill a hole and bolt the cover rail to the truck. Not sure why someone would need to remove the cover rail and yes I know, most people do not want to drill, but it would work

I have the tanu cover since I bought the car.

I have a 2019 Laramie, & I really really miss my DS previous ram with the ram box the inside of the bed was ready, Now I'm thinking about the rails and the divider, BUT haven't seen an installation I would like to see how does it work.

curious if any has any update.
About to pull the trigger on a Bak G2 and have the divider sitting in the garage. Anyone has successfully made it all fit?

Sorry for the late response but I finally got this working today. I definitely took some effort. The rear clamps, closet to the cab of the vehicle were taken off an cut just at the curve, so the first 2 teeth were removed and then re-installed (sorry no picture of that). The clamping section probably has about 10 teeth on each piece, again only took off 2 teeth before the piece got thick. My daughter figured out that we could take the middle clamps off and spin them 180 and that gave enough clearance in the middle. The front clamps had no issues. Once we did that, the rest of the installation was a breeze. It took us about 2.5 hours to get if fully in with cutting and all. Hope this helps someone else out.

I have a Rough Country Trifold cover with Cargo management
I wish I saw this post before...I cut the rail it self but due to tools I have I think it is easier for me to cut the rails. Cutting the bracket looks a lot cleaner. Hope this help someone who need this combo, the cargo management is what I really needed so I took this route since I didn't want to buy roll and lock cover $1500

I cut out 1 1/8 of an inch on all side where the braket is and it fits perfect. I used Dremel EZ456 1 1/2 inch to cut, I am not a pro as you could see the cuts...and it looks little messy but it covers it once it's installed lol.
