For some reason Car Play disappears at times and is heard to retrieve. I will check all settings and everything is as it needs to be. The fix is usually plugging the phone into a port and then its retrieved. Does anyone else have wireless care play issues?

Wireless CarPlay usually connects within 10 seconds of starting my 2025 Laramie using an iPhone 16 with the latest updates. Very rarely, it won't connect, and I plug it in. I think that mainly happens when I start the truck, then exit while it is running and take the phone with me. I believe the CarPlay button is gone at that point. However, it reconnects most of the time wirelessly.

I had Wifi setting on my phone turned off. Got into the car and couldn't figure out, at first, why my CarPlay wasn't showing up. Not sure if this helps you, but make sure that wifi is turned on for your phone.

I had multiple issues when my truck was new. I did a hard reset, holding in the volume and tune knob until it rebooted. I also connected with usb cable, set everything back up, and double checked settings in my phone. It’s been almost a year now without issues. I think it was the hard reset that fixed it for me, but since I did everything at the same time I can’t say for sure. I do know I made several attempts at a “soft reset” through the settings menu without success, so I think it was the hard reset. I’m just glad something fixed it, as it was really pissing me off.

Thank you. I’ll try that.
