Car alarm won’t stop going off

While testing voltage in the fuse box to wire an accessory, the alarm started and would not turn off no matter what I did. I disconnected the battery to not be a nuisance to my neighbors. Now every time I reconnect the battery the alarm starts again. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Figured it out. For anyone that runs across this issue you have to hit the panic button on the remote to turn it off not the lock button!

Thanks for posting this. I had mine go off yesterday and I kept hitting the unlock button and it wouldn't stop. I'll have to remember to try the panic button next time.
