Good evening. I’ve looked through the threads to find an answer and I could not find anything. So here is my question, has anyone done a Canbus reset on their truck? I have a 2019 1500. I found various information on the internet and I tried these solutions with no changes. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

On a clear day, I can see Seattle from my house.
Perhaps if you stated the reason you believe this procedure should be done to your Ram, some knowledgeable person could offer some insight to your situation or an alternative that would meet your needs.

After installing new led turn signal bulbs in the front and back with load resistors. My side mirror leds are now hyper flashing. The side mirror leds are factory installed. After contacting diode dynamics, they suggested that the truck needs a canbus reset. That’s why I am looking for a procedure.

Either do a mass vehicle code clear. Disconnect the battery cables. Touch them together for a few. You could do a bus test, still. CAN either has issue or it doesn’t. Not a whole lot in between.

The right scan tool, no. Issue is there, after that it’s hooking up multi meter then a scope if need be.
