Canadian Sport grill/badges on a 2019 Rebel from dealer-Question

Hi all, I've been having issues with my 2019 1500 Sport bought new from a dealer (I'm in Alberta Canada). The dealer installed combo of a 2" Mopar lift kit, Fuel Rims (20" with factory offset) and kickback mudflaps just isn't working, and caused damage to the passenger front fender (needed body work). When I took it in, the body shop found existing filler in the same area that was damaged. We started looking into the VIN. The online VIN decoders say the truck is a Rebel, but the truck is all black with black badges, gloss black bumpers, sport emblems on the dash, sport display in the dash and a sport grill.

I'm just getting the run around from the dealership and was wondering if its even possible to order Sport badges etc for a Rebel? The reason this is important is the MOPAR lift kit is NOT recommended for the Rebel, but it was installed (prior to me looking at the truck) by the dealership, as were the rims, tires and mudflaps. I don't want to be that guy who makes a bunch of claims only to find out I was wrong and am looking for insight as to what may be going on with this truck. I've owned it since buying it new in March of this year. I recently had the recall parts installed on the lift kit (spacer rings) Lift kit part # was confirmed to be the AA model that had the TSB.

I posted this here instead of the Suspension forum as I'm looking for general advice on the badging issue more than the lift kit.

Perhaps try ro download the window sticker and build report on line and find out what you definetly have. What does the cluster say at top? If it is a rebel it would/should have a rebel cluster. It may be FCA uses the designation for sport and rebel trim in the vin??? Just a thought. Badges could have been changed out but it would be unusual for the cluster to be changed.

Yeah that’s my concern, the cluster and glove box emblems etc are all sport but the online VIN search says Rebel, which is why I’m getting concerned something may not be above board here.

Put your VIN after the = sign, that is your truck...

I misunderstood when you said decoded the vin, I'm not expert but do have a rebel. doesn't appear to be rebel just the sport appearance package. Definitely weird about build sheet. Have you tried downloading the window sticker.

Things. Ay be different in Canada, in the US the sport appearance package in 2919 if I recall was only available on the big horn and Laramie trim. Might be something FCA Canada offered. Definitely try to get the window sticker.

That’s where I was heading. US site reporting in a Loony dollar RAM gets a bit confused.

When you buy a Sport/Rebel in Canada it states Sport/Rebel on the window sticker but when it is built it comes as either a Sport or Rebel.

I also have a CDN 2020 Ram 1500 Sport. On the bill of Sale it is stated as a Sport/Rebel however on the Window Sticker only a sport. I think it is just a Canada thing and you definitely only have a Sport edition.
