Can we raise the Wolfbox so it doesn't cover the AutoDim Mirror Sensor?

I really wanted to get the Wolfbox dashcam since it acts as a cheaper digital rear view mirror as well, but I looked up where the sensor is for the side mirrors....
Of course it's on the rear view mirror....
I was thinking, would it be possible to raise where it seats on the rear view mirror so it doesn't cover the sensor?

If it produces any light directed at that sensor, it will cause it not to work. We have this issue with the Comma.
