It’s my understanding that when in entry exit mode the bump stops are resting on the rear axle. Does that mean if I remove or shorten the rear bumps ups will the rear the truck go lower when in entry/exit mode?
How close are your shocks to being fully compressed when you rest on the bump stops now? Does the air bag look like it still has slack?
Even more important, if you hit an obstacle, ditch, whatever, one day, what will snap when it is steel on steel bottoming out instead of hitting the stop?
Also remember if you lower truck with the fob many of the trucks do not automatically raise to aero, something mine does that my dealer (and many others) are unable to fix .
