Keep us posted, I've heard exhaust manifold tick that sounded very similar. Hopefully it's that one.

Is the tick present and loud on cold starts? If so, likely not a lifter.

He covers most of the ticks you are likely to hear.

I'm thinking exhaust, hopefully that's all it is. Hoping for the best, but be prepared for a lifter.
