So buying a new camper that has pre-wired for Furion camera. The camera comes with another 5" screen you are supposed to mount in the truck. I would like to see if I can get it to show on the 12" screen instead. I'm assuming i will need to use a different camera but more interested in what I will need to add to my truck. My truck currently only has the tailgate camera. I don't have any plugs on the bumper like some do. I also do not have the fancy mirror. What parts would I all need to make this work?

Vehicle information would help.

Furrion prewire is only a camera mount and 12 volt source on the camper. No data cable. To get the image from camper camera to 12" screen, you'll have to hardwired camera. Then, you'll have to bypass the video in motion timeouts as the image will not remain on the display for more than a few seconds when the vehicle is in forward motion. That's if you're planning to use it as an observation camera so it will stay active while driving.

Now, if you're just wanting camera to display only when reversing, you can install a Mopar camera(there are a few camera options) on the camper, hardwire it to the tongue of trailer, then make a jumper that connects to the tailgate wiring whenever you tow the camper. Truck will treat it like a regular reverse camera.

I have links for those two methods interested. Again, vehicle year/model will help to narrow down options.
