I recently bought a 2019 3500 Crew Cab, with the 8ft bed and 5th wheel connection. My wife and I both thought we had cameras, or what looked like cameras, on the driver side of the connection covers. One above the top and one below the bottom. I had a bed liner sprayed in yesterday, at Trux Super Store in Baytown Tx, and we informed the service writer of the cameras (or what we thought to be cameras) in the bed. Well, two hours later, what we thought to be cameras are now both covered in Bed Liner. Now, I'm trying to find out what they are/were, if anything, so that I will know whether or not to inform them that they owe me two new cameras.
I've been looking on line for 2019 Ram 3500 bed cameras, and bed sensors, but the only thing camera wise that comes up is a 3rd brake light with camera.
I even crawled under the truck to see if wiring was connected. There is not. And, only the forward most "camera" is even accessible. The other appears to be directly above the bed support rail.
Is this something anyone else has come across?
Thanks.
