Camera System Unavailable

Just received my 2025 RAM RHO and none of my cameras are working. “Camera System Unavailable” message is displayed when I go into reverse or click on the cameras. Truck has 17miles on it. The only camera that works is the rear view mirror.

Does anyone have a fix without going to the dealer?

I have seen lots of reports of this over time. May be a connector or harness problem, may be the camera, or Uconnect needs an update.

However with only 17 miles on the truck... Do nothing but drive it for another day or two. It seems in many cases various modules are just going through handshakes and the camera will be working soon.

Other things which may or may not work are to do a full Uconnect reboot or disconnect the battery for 15 minutes. The problem with these last two options is some report this exact symptom after doing these things... And then the fix is to drive for a couple days, until the camera comes back on line by itself.

thanks, I’ll make an appointment with the dealer and in the meantime hope it comes back on. I’ve tried the battery and checked the tailgate harness. But there’s many many connections. Still no luck. I’ll post an update when I have one.
