Cabin noise disappointment

Anytime I hit 130 mph on the highway the wind noise that comes in through the door gaskets is too disruptive for me to continue my video calls. I can neither here the other meeting attendees and they certainly cannot hear me well. It is frustrating to have to slow down just so my colleagues can hear me.

Yeah, when I drift corners at 95mph, my co-workers can’t hear me either. It’s a pain when I’m trying to blow off some steam but meetings get in the way.

I only notice the excessive cabin noise when my wife is in the truck....when it's just me and the dog....it's really quiet. Go figure!

Depends where you live, lol. 110 MPH was cruising speed in Northern Alberta. He's right, the doors start flapping like they're ready to take off.
I improved my 95 V10 by blocking the door with a 2x4 and pushing in on the top of the window frame to tighten it against the jam and rubber seal.
Used the same trick on my 04 Cummins Dually although it would do it starting around 70MPH.

What's wrong with that? Set the laptop right up on the dash and you can steer with your elbows if you need to do a screen share with the group.

Yes, yes, that is a good technique also. Allows for doughnuts and coffee during the meeting.

Truth be told, when I try the elbow steer the peker porch gets in the way!
