Have those of you with bright white compared your truck to an ivory white?

My 2019 Ltd was a tri coat ivory. Much less “fleet work truck” of a look. $500 upgrade cost if I remember correctly.

2019 to 2023 you are correct it's a 500 dollar option and only available on the laramie and the limited i don't know about the rebel i know ya couldn't get it on the tradesman or the bighorn

It's currently a $795 option on the Laramie. It's worth it imo, if you are considering white.

Depends on the lighting. It looks like plain white in overcast or less than bright light, but the pearl metallic aspect comes through in bright sunlight. Especially when viewed at an angle. The upgrade was absolutely worth it to me.

Thanks yeah I had have 3 black vehicles and wanted to change things up. The truck will sit outside permanently and I wanted a color that doesn't collect direct that easy [believe Bullet Silver is even better] but also one that doesn't show scratches.

White came to mind but for $550 that Ivory Pearl coat sounded like a good idea...

I keep vehicles for several years so was leaning towards Ivory with the night edition package.

Cool and what about dirt collection and scratches? I only hand wash my vehicles but with something this big I'd probably only do a full wash, polish and wax twice a year.

It does show dirt, but less than a darker color would show. I wash mine in a touch less car wash twice a week. I am certain it would hide scratches better than most colors. I love it.

I think Ivory white may be my next color.
While I love my Patriot blue when it’s clean, especially against the blackout of the Night edition…it’s clean for 5 minutes..lol.

My previous was a bright white Ram, even dirty, it didn’t show it as much as my new one.
I really like the Ivory paint.. if the truck I wanted didn’t have everything I wanted on a local lot when I bought it… I would’ve ordered one in Ivory.

We had the tri-coat ivory paint in 2019 with the light interior, denim dye transfer was supposed to be a problem but I never had an issue. Course’ I used a leather protector product monthly.
The current 23’ Ltd came with the black interior like 90 ish percent do, however it’s been fine.
Ceramic tint, also on the windshield, helps a lot. Go as light as you can or clear for legality issues if you do the windshield.

I washed mine for the first time in at least 8 months a couple weeks ago. Sits outside permanently without cover. Can't see a single scratch, and you can only see a few tiny chips up front where rocks have hit it. You could definitely tell it was dirty, but my wife drove her brand new black Traverse through the snow/salted streets we had, and it looked like it hadn't been washed in years.

Yep, it helps with dirt. My 23’ has the stock “bright white” and it usually looks ok except for road tar. 🙄
Getting too many rock chips though.

Patriot blue with night edition looks sick but yeah I could see that thing being a dirt magnet.

I had two tricoat ivory trucks, a 20 and a 21, and I've never owned a white truck in 10+, usually I did black or dark blue. I liked the ivory white a lot. washed the trucks maybe 3-4 times a year. when I saw a std. white they stuck out to me as being pretty bright. just IMO.
But I also had the std. chrome bumpers which I thought looked good w/the white compared to colored bumpers, but again IMO.

As already mentioned, the difference between the two whites is much less obvious if not in direct sunshine or a brightly lit garage/shop. But the pearl effect really stands out in the sun.

I had a 2021 Limited night edition in ivory white pearl coat and it was beautiful. My favorite color combo for a Ram. We decided we only needed one 5th gen Limited so we kept the one without etorque 🤷‍♂️. It was definitely a lot easier to take care of than the black 2020 Limited we kept LOL.

My wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve is the bright white, color is boring, how ever you get a deeper metalic, pearl color from the Tri-Coat Pearl, I would invest the extra $725.00 to get the upgrade.
