Brake controller

I had an aftermarket brake controller switch installed and it seems to work when towing but I can’t get the info on the dash display

The only brake controllers that will display on the dash are the OE Mopar ones. Installing one of those should not be a problem. When I ordered my truck I spec'd the brake controller but they forgot to put it on so it was a dealer-installed accessory. You can also DIY it with something like JSCAN/AlfaOBD, I believe.
