BAM Wholesale Parts ….. 68404851AB …. You have to buy the whole black grill assembly, but it was only $300 …. It’s 3 pcs …. You just take the honeycomb insert out, and swap it …. Obviously that’s the time to do color matched RAM letters …. I sold the black grill surround for $100 …. I hated the black Laramie slats

CDT mid-woofers went in the front doors yesterday …. Used Metra 72-6514’s with polarity reversed …. No issues with noise and the ANC …. The whole system sounds tighter, cleaner, and just better

Quick question - did you modify the Metra 72-6514 adapters by depinning the wires and reversing then in the harness before installing the 6x9 door speakers?

CDT mid-woofers went in the front doors yesterday …. Used Metra 72-6514’s with polarity reversed …. No issues with noise and the ANC …. The whole system sounds tighter, cleaner, and just better

Your post said "Used Metra 72-6514’s with polarity reversed" and I just want to understand what you did to achieve that.

Reason I ask is cause I recently replaced my Alpine 6x9s in all four doors and now I've got the active noise canceling droning issues in the cab.

Front = HD-690CFS - 2 ohm
Rear = HD-690SEX - 2 ohm
Adapter = Metra 72-6514

I didn't do anything to the Metra 72-6514 except plug them in and connect them to the CDT speakers.

Thinking I need to reverse the wires all four of the adapters in order to get the active noise canceling to function properly?

First of all, beautiful truck and you've done some great upgrades that are right up my alley. I ordered a '23 Laramie GT and I want to do a grille swap because I love the honeycomb style grille on the Big Horn more, and it matches the lower part of the front end also. I was told it wouldn't be possible and that it wouldn't be a simple swap, but from your build it looks like it's not a big deal? Thanks for any info/tips, and again, nice truck!

make sure the new grille you want let air true it in the upper portion of it for your gt air intake, if you block it it cant be good

Solid point! I'll look at both grilles closely before doing anything.
