Not all states do uninsured motorists coverages and I've actually used it and received a refund on my deductible because of it.

I paid my deductible to get my vehicle fixed. After my insurance company received the police reports and it was proven the other driver was at fault and uninsured, I got my deductible refunded.

Yes, sadly I do!

Completely forgot about that. And they got me with that in my teens. Only found out when i took the car for smog check luckly it was something minor and easy fix
