I have a 2021 1500 Lonestar. Recently I was dealing with slow starts, I thought it was due to it getting cold because it was fine. Shortly thereafter, it started overheating. Got it home and now it does not crank at all, just hear a click. Had mechanic come out n said replace radiator and thermostat. As far as the starting, he tells me that my body control module is gone and needs to be replaced. At the dealership, the part is on backorder. I would like to know if it is possible to replace with a refurbished module and have it programmed. I'm in Texas and they said there are none in the entire state brand new

2021. How old is the battery? If original, I would start by replacing it before going after a BCM and the radiator.
YMMW.

I'd be highly suspicious of the bad BCM diagnosis. What info is that based on, that it won't start?? That's an expensive part to replace without confirmation. When you say "slow start" do you mean it cranks slowly, or that it cranks at normal speed but has to crank longer before it starts? If you've not replaced the battery yet then that's where I'd start too. A slowly degrading battery can cause lots of temporary electronic gremlins in these trucks.
