Hey guys just wanting to see what you all say and if I should be concerned. I have a 19 limited 5.7 non e-torque. The past few days on a cold start using remote start I’ve noticed a puff of smoke come spilling out then goes away after a second or two. Temperature is mild around 30-40 degrees with 1/2 a tank. Any help would be great and if this is a cause for concern.

Is there an obvious odor to that smoke?
That could be an important clue to those who could provide an informed opinion/idea(s)
Oil level - any obvious change (less than expected)?
If there is not an obvious odor, my W.A.G. - condensation?

The valve guide seals might be the culprit. How many miles are on the clock?

It has 110k but after posting this the following morning it no longer did it and has been fine ever since . was very strange and a very obvious cloud after cold start

Had it been sitting for a few days prior to the start where you noticed this?

Also, was the smoke definitely blue or white, or was it possibly blackish?

Each color likely a different thing.

Was it all the colors?? Lol.

The white I wouldnt worry about if you are not loosing coolant. Also likely to be condensation if it is colder.

Black I wouldnt worry about if it's a super cold start, though the temps you described I wouldnt put in that category.

Blue would be concerning. Check oil levels frequently.
