I've been having this problem with my front driver's side door speaker. Sometimes it sounds blown and buzzes with only a slight amount of bass and other times it sounds fine. If I take it to the dealership, I would like to give them a direction to go instead of them saying that they can't replicate it. The buzzing/distortion comes and goes randomly. I found a similar issue on another Ram forum and a few members had it but no one followed up with a solution. I have the stock 6 speaker system with the 8.4" head unit.

It might be not you speaker. The signal goes thru the ANC, maybe this unit is defective.

I had a feeling it could be more than just a speaker. That's why I want the dealership to look at it first and not just replace the speakers although that still may happen. I'll definitely update the thread with what the dealership says.

My driver's side dash speaker does this. When listening to HD radio stations it sounds distorted and buzzes like it's blown. Any other music source, or even non HD radio stations and it's fine.

I'm always listening to my flash drive. I rarely ever listen to my radio. I may have to try another source when it happens.

I went to the dealership and of course the speakers sounded fine so they couldn't do anything. At least I got the brake recall done. Apparently they said I'll have to record the speakers when they sound blown and let them listen to it. So I'll update this when I can.

I ended up replacing all my speakers. Though my front drivers side seemed blown too. One song that would make it obvious is Pink Floyd, Welcome to the machine, at the very beginning.
