What’s the best generally accepted way to black out the stock silver badging on a 2019 Ram Laramie? I would like to get all of the Chrome colored pieces painted black so the whole truck is black out. Any one know the best way to go doing this? Thanks all!

You can buy OEM badges from Ebay or Amazon (Avondale Automotive store) which is the more expensive route or you can Plasti Dip them for under $10. I purchased the L&R Hemi badges for the hood and also the RAM letters on the grill and Plasti Dipped the rest. Post up pics of the finished product please.

I Plasti Diped them fairly easily then added stickers over the black dip. Hopefully it holds up through the winter. So far so good!

I second PlastiDip. Very easy process and very good so far. It is exposed to strong sun for a few months and color is perfect. It surprised me how strong it is considering it is a rubber paint and could be pilled off. Additionally there is an easy way of fixing it in case you scratch it or something else chip it. What convinced me was how easy is to work on details. You just peel off the free/excessive part and it will cut itself off. It is good to mention the cost - $5 for the can at HomeDepot and it is more than enough for all badges. I did not buy any special cleaner or tool and worked like a charm.
