So I finally got everything put together & have my Rebel set up how I want it. For now.
I went with Black Rhino 18 x 9.5 Fury wheels with +12 offset on 285/75 Toyo RT open country tires. I made room with the daystar & revel links level. I have no rubbing in aero or normal mode but did have to grind the brake calipers down a bit. The caliper has 3 raised nubs on the inside which just scraped the inside of the wheels. I now have about a credit cards worth of space between the wheel & calipers. I knew it would be tight but was hoping to avoid grinding but wasn’t very difficult to do so. I’ve got the amount of tire I want & they sit nearly flush with the fenders.
Thanks to all of you on here for the ideas & info! The wallet is a little lighter though but I’m enjoying the new ride. I just need to find a shop with the current Hunter software to perform an alignment. And maybe to sell the Rebel wheels & tires...
