What spacer did you end up purchasing for the rear? I just ordered my bilstein 5100 front and rear and I’m gonna run a 1” spacer on the rear cause I want some rake plus will help with squat when I pull my boat. What does your truck measure now front and rear after the install?

I haven’t ordered one yet, but I think the motofab 1” rear spacer will do the trick. My truck now measures 39.75” front and 40” rear so that 1” spacer would come in handy I think. I only had a few hundred pounds of tools in my bed after the install and it looked like it was nose high.

That’s what I was thinking of going with was the motofab also, I had a 1” day star on my 15’ ram and it was paired with the 5100 and it drove awesome! But I had to trim big time in my fenders to fit my 3/12.5s. You think they really need ucas , I hear diff opinions.. I like the ready lifts but I can get the Mopar ones for $38 ea at the old dealership I worked.

Yeah that 1" spacer will probably be the way to go. I have seen some installs on ORP trucks that have good looking UCA angles but for $300 I wanted the peace of mind of replacing the them with quality UCA's. I just don't care for the plastic mopar UCA's. I think at a minimum when doing the bilsteins on an ORP truck you should swap to the mopar lift UCA's.

Bought the kit on amazon for $370 and sold the 2" spacer for $100.

How did it work out, Still rubbing ? I’m close to ordering some 285/65/20 ridge grapplers and would like to leave my 2” wheel spacers and not rub but I think I will have the same issue right where you did

I removed the mud guards and bent the mounting hole tang back a little then zip tied the plastic back. I don't hear any rubbing at either lock but did notice some wheel scuffing in front of wheel well when I looked. I may zip tie that also. Shift points feel a little different but nothing affecting performance. 4 Mph speedo difference and gas mileage dropped. My 19' 2 wheel drive got 22 at 75, this one is lucky to get 18. 8.5 towing an 8k lb boat. It was expected though and I love the look.

Finished 5100 front and back install. Set to clip 5 and got just under 2” up front. Installed rear bilsteins and motofab 1” coil spacer in rear. Still on stock org rubber for the next couple days until can put my 275/65 ridge grapplers on my night edition 20s. Install was pretty easy and I am super pleased with the results.

Thanks. I did do the readylift UCAs. Felt I’d rather just do them and not have to worry about ball joints going bad.
Before measurements;
Front: 37 1/4”
Rear: 39 3/4”
After measurements; less than half tank of fuel
Front: 39 1/8”
Rear: 40 3/4”

Thanks! I read so many posts saying the dealers can’t actually do it and end up just buying an aftermarket device and doing it that way. Plus up charging it, so I’m just going to buy one myself and do it. From what I can tell so far it’s 2-3 mph off. I’m not in any huge rush to do it. I really wanted the 285/65 ridge grapplers but at the time I was ordering everywhere was on backorder. The 275/65 aren’t much smaller and I think they turned out great.

Yes I had 2 tire places check and only 5 available in the US. They tried to order them and they couldn’t. Heard on back order till August. I ended up getting them through Amazon and shipped to a tire shop near me and everything worked out great. 285 65 just a bit taller and wider but not by much

Also for those of you looking for 5160s, know that they fit identical side to side. I have two rights installed on my truck since that's what was available. And since you can't see the stickers from the outside, who cares that they are backwards.

Hey I am new to this site. You have the same setup I am about to install in my 2021 Laramie 4X4. I purchased the 6112 for the front and the 1" springs from Bilstein, for the back. I won't be changing out the stock shocks in the back. Not sure if I really need to, but was wondering about the ride quality from stock as opposed to your setup. BTW, this may be a dumb question, but how are you guys measuring the height after you lifted/leveled your truck? Some say to measure from bottom of rim to fender, others say from center cap to fender. I already installed a leveling kit but will be replacing that with the 6112/rear coil setup and wanted to know what I can expect as far as height when doing so.

I did not measure the height before and after. Frankly, it doesn't matter. It's higher, sits "right" visually front to back and I have the clearance I need for 285/65r20s so that's enough for me.

About the ride. Slightly firmer than stock but still very good factory feeling ride. Almost as if there were a "real" off-road suspension available from the factory. I am extremely happy with the setup.

That said, having run mismatched front and rear shocks on other trucks in the past, you will feel the difference in dampening over large bumps and your rear end will not have near the control over chattery stuff that it would with the matching Bilstein shocks. You will have to remove the rear shocks anyway to install the coils. There is zero reason to reinstall the factory junk shocks.
