Hi! Just managed to get hold of full set of bilstein 5100, front and rear for my 2022 ram rebel.

Model numbers are:
Front : 24-300872
Rear: 24-233354

Installed front at clip #5 and replaced the stock rear shock with the 5100’s. Upon completion, the front is sitting 1inch higher than the back!

Have double checked everything and all points on this forum, all looks fine in the front. For the rear, according to bilstein technical team (called them) the 5100 should not be used on the rebel. Whereas on numerous web listing it says they can used with 0-2inch lifts in the rear and 0-1inch lift with ORP.

So before I move onto getting a rear coil spacer, has anyone been through a similar process? Any advice will be much appreciated!

Also, is the rear 5100 compatible with a 1inch lift on a rebel/orp?

Tried finding info on the stock bilstein C7E23F16-B29E-4616-9029-23329DE3DA9A.jpeg shock, search didnt return anything. Sharing picture incase someone knows.

How much have you driven the truck since install? The front will settle a good bit. And then get an alignment.

10km since install. Will give it a few days, going offroading tomorrow, hopefully that’ll help.

In regards to the 5100 on the rear for 2022 rebel, you know if they’re ok to be used?

Jack the truck up by the frame and let the axle droop and see how far it drops before the shocks fully extend, if the shocks it their internal stops before the axle stops dropping then they are too short

I’m running the same set up with the stock rear shocks and a 1” spacer on the rear springs. It rides great and I have had no problems

Should equal a 2” lift on a rebel or ORP equipped truck with the front shocks set at 5.

Bilstein does not have a rear shock recommendation on their site for the rebels for some reason. I know the 2019’s and some 20’s had externally mounted reservoirs, but that is no longer on the rebels. You just get a standard mono tube shock which may or may not be identical to the 4600.

5100's are adjustable to provide recommended right height based on preferred set ups. I've used multiple sets on different 4Runners and there's a significant difference (don't quote me, but I believe it's up 2.5" depending on the settings) in shock length and resultant heights based upon these settings. You may be able to go back and adjust the shocks to see if it will lower the front based on this alone. It's an outstanding shock, I'd never have anything else on a 4Runner.
